Rotenberg holiday home, Bregenzerwald

A synthesis of architecture and craft

In Rotenberg in the Bregenzerwald, a simple, wood-clad house from the 60s has been completely modernised. The raised gabled roof provides more living room. A loggia of light, vertically-mounted wooden slats opens up a view into the valley.

Also in the interior of the building you can detect the transition between old and new. The darkened wood panelling of the floors, walls and ceilings transitions into the new walls in light, white fir. In the first floor, an open living area has been created with a bed niche and bathroom that makes an impression with turquoise-blue felt.

Matching the turquoise-blue felt, the classic LS 990 switch in Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier has been installed. In the 32030 bleu céruléen 31 tone, it has a dynamic effect and always draws attention to itself. The switches were hand painted in a special process.
