Merry Christmas – we are making donations

Donating and sharing with joy – that’s what we’d like to do again this year at Christmas. For Christmas to be a merry occasion for as many people as possible, we are supporting various social, charitable projects. And this is where regional initiatives and charities get our support as well as well-known and established organisations who do good and help throughout the world.

We are supporting the following projects:

The SOS-Kinderdorf Sauerland in Lüdenscheid

The first two SOS children's village wardens moved into the family houses in Lüdenscheid with ‘their’ first children in 1966. The SOS children's village was steadily able to extend its services in the subsequent five decades and be available for many children, young people and their families in difficult situations. It also provides numerous educational programmes for the best possible support.

The Children’s Hospital Clinic Clown in Lüdenscheid

Laughing helps healing. That is what many small patients have already experienced at the Hospital for Children and Young People in Lüdenscheid. The Clinic Clowns (Clownvisite e.V.) have been out and about with their fun and games on the wards every week since 2011 – thanks to the charitable Kinderklinik e.V. friends’ association and its many donors.

Welthungerhilfe

The "Welthungerhilfe" (German World Hunger Aid) is one of the largest private aid organisations in Germany, which is independent of any political or religious affiliation. “Helping people to help themselves” is the fundamental principle in its fight against hunger and poverty. On this basis the Welthungerhilfe strengthens structures from below by working together with local partner organisations and ensuring long-term success in their project work.
