Penthouse, Stuttgart

At eye level with the city

In the popular Heustieg district of Stuttgart, close to the city centre, another project by Stephan Obermaier and the g2o architects was realised with the addition of storeys and redevelopment of an apartment building. The apartment building is located in Olgastraße and, consequently, in the centre of a district that is especially popular with artists and restaurant goers.

In the upper part of the building there is a penthouse occupying two storeys that appeals with its size, openness and modern furnishing. The interior design by the 2go architects plays skilfully with shapes and colours. The light walls and ceilings are broken up by individual, colourful features that vary from gentle to powerful.

The penthouse is fitted with the JUNG KNX system. With the F 50 push-button sensors in LS 990 Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier switch design, the blinds, temperature and lighting among other things can be managed with ease. LS ZERO as the flush-mounted variant of the JUNG LS 990 classic creates a flowing transition between the surface and control elements.
