House on the hill, Stuttgart

Equipped for the future

The demands of the owners were clearly stated: The existing building should become a modern and high-quality house, accessible without barriers with sensible energy efficiency improvements. The architects Bottega + Ehrhardt took on this task. Now a four-storey, timeless family home is located in the south of Stuttgart.

A steel bridge leads without steps from the grounds to the front door on the top floor. The bedroom on the top floor offers an en-suite bathroom and dressing room. An open kitchen next to the dining and living area invites to a comfortable stay. The highlight in the basement is a small spa area.

The technology in the house is also future-proof and fits in the timelessness of the architecture: the JUNG KNX system combines the aspects of convenience, security and energy efficiency. Push-button sensors allow the lighting, blinds and heating to be controlled easily. The push-button sensors of the LS 990 range in white suit the restrained visual appearance of the house.
