TROPICAL HIGH-RISES

JUNG Architecture Talks in Singapore

Since 2006, the JUNG Architecture Talks have been a platform for spirited public debates about topical subjects in architecture. An established event in Germany, the talks are increasingly gaining international reach, facilitating the creation of networks and offering an opportunity for professional discussions in a relaxed atmosphere. Continuing to establish the talks on an international level, for the first time, JUNG will be staging an architecture talk in Singapore with the title TROPICAL HIGH-RISES.

Green high-rise buildings are no longer a future vision in metropolises like Singapore: bio facades can help reducing a building’s heating and cooling requirements and can curb climate variability. On 29 June 2018, four experts will be discussing the opportunities and challenges related to vertical green surfaces and modern high-rise architecture at the Andaz Singapore hotel.

We feel very honored to have Mr Fong Chun Wah, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Building) from HBD Singapore with us, to welcome our guests.

You are warmly invited to join us for a get-together and refreshments after the talk.
